Hosting network
Infrastructure classified as hosting applications or services.
Definition
A hosting classification describes infrastructure used to operate networked services. An address in a hosting network might serve a website, API, database, proxy or many unrelated workloads. The label describes infrastructure context rather than intent.
Worked example
The API returns hosting classification and retained datacenter overrides in risk.is_datacenter. The hosting directory counts matching exported ranges; its narrower scope can differ from the API flag.

Matching ruleHosting classification or retained datacenter override.
risk.is_datacenterboolean- Hosting classification or a retained datacenter override matches the address.
A false flag means its matching condition was not met. A missing or failed response is unavailable, not false.
Interpretation
Hosting alone is not evidence of fraud, automation or malicious activity. Read the flag alongside the operator identity, other source signals and your application’s own observations.
