IPv6 lookup
Look up the network, validate the address and copy its compressed or expanded form.

This IPv4-mapped address contains the IPv4 value shown above.
This block is reserved for examples and documentation. It is not evidence of a real client’s location or network.
No public geolocation or network lookup is performed for this address scope.
Compress or expand an IPv6 address
An IPv6 address has eight 16-bit groups. Expanded notation shows all eight groups with four hexadecimal digits each. Compressed notation removes leading zeros and replaces a run of zero groups with ::.
Different text forms can identify the same address. Format validation does not establish assignment, reachability or a device’s physical location.
Can you convert IPv6 to IPv4?
An arbitrary IPv6 address has no equivalent IPv4 address. An IPv4-mapped address embeds an IPv4 value: ::ffff:192.0.2.1contains 192.0.2.1. This tool extracts that value; it does not translate a connection between IPv6 and IPv4 networks.
